i read on this site that if you wanna cut, you should stay away from dairy products...so does that mean nonfat yogurt and skim milk as well?

i tend to eat at least 2-3 cups of nonfat yogurt and skim milk per day..and i just want to be assured if this would hinder my progress...

Perfectly fine if it fits in your daily calorie budget. Also remember a lot of those calories are carbs, if you're watching that. Some studies suggest dairy intake promotes fat loss and spares muscle.

There are a lot of sides to the issue regarding dairy and milk. I for one avoid milk, but eat nonfat cottage cheese every now and then. I say try it first then you assess.
