CINNA-SWEET PORK RINDS

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
3 oz pork rinds -- 90g
3 tbsp melted butter
2 tbsp Splenda
1 tsp cinnamon

Break larger rinds in half.
Put rinds in a large ziplocbag.
Combine butter, Splenda, extract and cinnamon.
Pour butter mix over rinds, seal bag, and shake until the rinds are well coated. Pour rinds onto a baking sheet and bake at 300?F-150?Cfor about 10 minutes or until dry and crunchy.

Variations: Reduce cinnamon to 1/2 tsp. and add one tsp. of caramel extract. (Or toffee or butterscotch or chocolate or gingerbread or whatever sounds good to you.)

I have not tried them but they sound pretty damn good, I've seen this recipe quite a few times on low carb sites.

attempted these last night as a dessert.
didnt quite turn out as great as expected but they were a nice change...
i would recommend using more cin/butter/splenda
because they didnt have enough taste to them.

I've never tried them, so I guess more of the "sauce" should be added. Cool, thanks for the input.
