Hey everyone,

Im just wondering how people have their breakfast?

Recently im thinking about oats, how do you cook and perpare it?

Right now, I'm having 4 pieces of toasts with peanut butter, banana, and 2 eggs... Seems to be a meal that i need to be fixed.

I always have Porridge oats in some form or another, cooked or made into a freezer cake. They're an excellent source of Low gylcaemic index carbohydrate.

My usual recipe for success (i like a lot of calories in the morning)

2 cups porridge oats
0.5 cup raisins
2 cups water

Leave this overnight to soften and soak up the water, in the morning, blitz it in the microwave for 4-5 mins on max.

I put oats in a bowl, add some water, and put it in the microwave for 3:00min. With sugar free syrup its good stuff.

You can keep the toast and peanut butter, but I'd add more egg whites or cottage cheese or some protein source, 2 eggs (12g) isn't much for breakfast. Try 2 whole eggs + 3-4 whites, or 2 eggs + 1/2-1c cottage cheese, or eggs + chicken/turkey sausage.
