View Full Version : Quercetin- TAKE IT?!

Anyone take quercetin when cutting? I went to an ACSM conference this weekend and some doctor had done research on it saying that for athletes it helps restore gluecose levels to the brain, helping to maintain normal brain function and mood when the body is under alot of physiological stress or deprived of calories/carbs. I get really MOODY when I'm cutting due to lack of carbs, energy and the stress I put on my body with the cardio sessions. I'm searching for something to help me mentally during these times so I can function at work and maintain sanity while training for competition. Advice anyone??????

Apples have that stuff, right? I have no idea, couldn't hurt, but as always I would recommend first searching out more natural sources of quercitin before doing the supplements. I get pretty moody myself when cutting, haven't found a cure for that yet. The body always knows when it isn't getting enough calories and it's hard to "trick" it into a good mood.
