Hello all.

I lost 35 pounds last year on a low carb diet, and was happy with the results.
But I think I would like to find a more health option to loose the last 20 pounds I have over the next 3 months.
I am looking for a website or place I can find a good and easy to prepare low-calorie meal plan.
Is low-calorie and exercise a practical way to loose 20 pounds.? Any other suggestions for the newbie.?

"Low" calorie isn't a good option. You typically only need to lower your calories slightly. I put down about 2700 calories a day.

My new default reply to newbies:
- Eat 5-6 meals a day
- Eat roughly the same amount for every meal
- Eat lean protein with every meal
- Eat a veggie/fruit with every meal
- Eat a EFA source with every meal
- Drink only non-calorie containing beverages (i.e. water and green tea)
- One meal a week, ignore everything above

nithos: Thank you for your input.
Would you mind answering a few questions.

How to I determine portion sizes for each of my 5-6 meals.?
What is EFA source .?

Anyone else have any suggestions.?

EFA = Essential Fatty Acid - info (http://goodfats.pamrotella.com/).. summary: get a fish oil supplement

Here are two threads you should read... start with the last one in my signature below. Then go to the first one, which includes a meal plan.

the food database on bb.com is pretty comprehensive and will give you a rough idea of what your eating per meal: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/nutrient.htm

the best way is to take a pencil and some paper and note down the calorie, protein, fat and carb content of each meal as displayed on the back of the actual packaging. For fresh food use the bb database above.

EFA= essential fatty acid. ie fish oils, flax oil, nuts etc.

Read this and figure out a proper daily diet plan- you need to work on a daily basis, not just a meal by meal basis: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=538637

Pretty funny when two people link to the same thing by default :D I think that Skelooth's thread should just pop open in a new window anytime you enter the Losing Fat forum.

yeah, definately! To be fair though, it was you that pointed me in Skelooths direction! Amazing how many people ask the same questions without looking back at similar posts from only an hour or two ago!

That aside, good luck with the fat loss Biltmore. If you still have questions after reading through all of that, you know where we all are!
