Don't eat much all bran as it reduces your bodies ability of consuming vitamins a, d, e and k. Dispite the amount of fibre. In fact, its the type of fibre that its got that reduces the vitamin intake.

I know what he is referring to in general, but it's not as much vitamins that bran (insoluble fiber) reduces the absorption of - it's minerals. Granted bran does have binding capacity with fat-soluble vitamins.

Not to mention soluble fiber sucking up water soluble vitamins.

But I've been labed a "broscientist" so I'm not going to back up my spoutings with anything concrete :D
