I'm down to my last $40 bucks for food.

I just ran out of syntha-6 (been getting great results with it) and I don't have any whey protein at all. I have a big ole tub of ON Casein though.
My question is, should I buy a $20 dollar tub of Whey Protein or just go buy some eggs and red meat? I could substitute egg whites for whey in the morning and for post-workout right?

I feel almost guilty not getting the whey, seems almost like a sin - LOL!!!!

You don't need whey. Whole food > supplements. Why not buy both though? Eggs are dirt cheap.

Because Protein Powder has become so Freakin' expensive!

It's almost sickening. I remember when I could go in and buy a 5 pound
tub of ON 100% Whey for 20~ dollars. Now it's about 45 bucks.

I was just asking because egg whites I assume digest fast and assimilate
aminos faster than other whole foods. So I wonder if whey is even necessary if egg aminos assimilate pretty quickly.

I'd rather just spend my last monies on the eggs and red meat anyway,
it's more filling.

Yea, like I said, whole foods always win, no matter what IMO.
