OK, so I know Tuna is the best bet for dieting, but seriously, I hate it. Just bough some Albacore to take for lunch next but want to skip the mayo (can't stand using mustard as an alternative).

Anybody have any good ideas on how I can tolerate this stuff?

cucumber -
peppers -
raddish -
1 apple.
and mix it all in with the washed tuna.
very healthy and tasty, the apple makes the world of difference in this salad.

tuna with salsa is pretty good. Newmans makes a pineapple salsa that is like 15 cals for 2 tablespoon and it has a lot of flavor.

light/reduced fat mayo if you need.

Thanks Everybody--

One question though....Peanut Butter and Tuna? OMG, I don't know if I could actually try this or not. But what the heck, I'll give it a shot. Maybe the peanut butter will help me to not think about the Tuna

When I want something Fresh..

Can of Tuna + Cucumber + Lemon Juice + Dill. Chill it for a bit - and enjoy.

If your not a fan of the fishy taste (you'll still taste it- but not as much), the cucumber and lemon juice will take care of it. I love fish - so it's never a problem right out of the can.

you might want to consider buying the starkist tuna creations (http://www.starkist.com/template.asp?section=products/creations.asp). they are fantastic and only have about 4 grams added fat in the whole pouch. it's worth it because all you need is to dump it onto a bed of lettuce with maybe a tbsp of dressing...tastes fantastic

I do a can of tuna + broccoli + brown rice. Mix it with some salsa and eat. It is pretty good. Sometimes I eat it with refried beans and salsa instead.
