I've been lifting for a while and starting to take supplements more seriously. I'm taking some form of whey every morning whether I am going to lift that day or not, is there any consensus on what/how much to take on non-lifting days? Similar protein targets (1-2g/lb) on all days or lifting days only?

Any useful information would be much appreciated!

Whey should only be used when needed IMO. No need to make sure you have x number of shakes per day. Ideally I'd only have a shake PWO, and perhaps pre if you prefer. Other than that you should opt for whole food if possible.

I keep my protein intake the same, and lower my carb intake on off days.
