i normally take 500 ml of water with me in gym. i was thinking to add 25 g of sugar in it.as sugar have 100% carb,that give 100 calories during my workout to boost the workouts.

is it good idea?

I think what he was getting at was if you have some sort of pre-workout nutrition in you, you shouldn't have to worry about an extra boost.

PLus you should use some sort of pre-workout supps that will give you a boost.

Pure sugar during a workout. That doesn't really make much sense to me, unless your looking for that insulin spike. But that spike should come POST workout.
