1 cup of rolled oats is apx. 300 calories, 10g protein, 6g fat, and 54g carbs. Oats are a great source of carbs so as long as they fit into your daily macros you are fine.

Yeah I agree this rip on this.

Yeah and 2 cups would be 600 calories...your "cups" might just be a 2 cup container...

I tried taking my oats raw today (mixed in with fat free yogurt and sugar free raspberry jam). It was awesome! I could definitely get used to eating them that way.

Oat are awesome, I love it when I get oats at work and people look at me like I'm some kind of weirdo. It's funny how people who are overweight judge my diet. They try telling me that I eat too much protein, I just smile and nod, because I'm getting bigger and they are all fat or they look like 12 yr old boys. The more they judge the more i stick to my diet.

Have your Oats in the morning and they will give you plenty of energy to get throughout your day. Also, Postworkout they are great even while cutting. Like said before, just make sure they fit into your daily macros.

I buy a huge box of old fashioned oatmeal. Big, uncut, raw oats. Yummy, yummy.
I guess I could cook them, but why bother?
