Which nuts are best?

Peanuts?
Cashews?
Wallnuts?

What is a fair serving size?

All 3 are good for you, and as far as serving size, i guess it depends on what you are trying to do.

Walnuts are the way to go. 1/4 cup has around 210 calories, 20 grams of fat(1 or 2 of that being Sat. fat), 3 grams of carbs (all fiber), and 5 grams of protein. They fill you up real good too; Walnuts+water gives you the feeling of a full meal.

Almonds or walnuts. A typical serving size is about 1 oz. (or 1/4 cup), which gives you 160-200 calories and 15-20 grams of fat.

Natural peanut butter is another good, convenient source of fat that's great with some cottage cheese as a pre-bed meal.

Nuts are amazing, nutrient dense and a great source of healthy fat. Basically any kind of nut is great, almonds and walnuts are the best from I've read. My personal favorite for taste are cashews.
