(Choices within each meal)

Meal 1:
- Water/ Whey protein shake
- Bowl of Optimum Power Cereal w/ organic vitamins A+D milk
- 1-2 whole eggs
- 3-8 egg whites
- Smoothie (vanilla yogurt, calcium + vitamin D orange juice, triple berry blend)
- CASEIN PROTEIN SHAKE????????????? Tell me if I shouldn't eat this
- More water

Meal 2:
- Water
- Yogurt
- Fruit
- Crackers
- Pretzels
- Nutrition bar (Kellogs Smart Start)
- Turkey sandwich on wheat
- More water

Meal 3:
- Water
- Chicken/turkey/beef/tuna on wheat sandwich
- Fruit
- Nutrition bars (Nature Valley)

Soup
- Orange juice, MUSCLE MILK: ?????
- More water
Salad

Meal 4 (Workouts)
Water
1 hour before workout: Whey protein shake
Accelerade during workout
Whey protein shake after workout

Meal 5:
- (Same approach as lunch):
- Water
- Meats (hamburgers, chicken, beef, pork)
- Pizza
- Soup
- Greens
- Rice
- Pasta
- Juice
- More water

Meal 6:
- Water
- Crackers
- Pretzels
- Fruit
- Veggies
- Fruit Smoothie
- casein protein shake
- More water

Any suggestions and comments are welcome please.........tell me if I'm doing something wrong.

By the way, I am trying to bulk.

I do not always eat everything listed here in the meals, those are just the selections I have in that meal.

Is there a problem with me eating right so I can gain muscle and have peak performance in basketball? No. Not a problem at all.

I agree with you wholeheartedly but you dont need a 'plan' just research what is good nutrition, educate yourself, and just make good food choices. Like the above poster said, lots of whole foods. At 16 you dont need a plan - just a bit of nutrition education and a LOT of food. Enjoy your youth... trust me that kick as# metabolism wont be with you forever.

lol, you sound like a real ass saying that. i'm a basketball player too but posting this/stressing this much should not be something you need to do. otherwise, it looks fine. you don't really need a caseine shake in the morning but if you wrote this in a more organized manner (say, pick a day and write it out) we could have an easier time criticising it, anyone can put a long list of foods and ask to have people plan it out and telling them what to eat.
