i switched to a new supermarket yesterday and found a whole "natural foods" section. i saw they had rolled oats for sale by the pound. ive never been able to find it before. so how do i take it with my shakes? do i take in in the morn or post work out? do i mix it with water or skim milk...please post the basics of rolled oats...thanx..

i take it post workout i add a scopp of whey protein and a generous amount of oats with water into a blender and mix it all up tastes great. you can also add a bannana if you like

Another option is to use a coffee grinder or a food processor to grind the oats to a powder. This makes it a little easier to mix with a shaker. I use them pre and post workout.

I do one of two things:
IN A SHAKE:
half cup oats
2 scoops whey
2 packets splenda
ice
water
BLEND AND DRINK

OATS AND WHEY
-half cup oats (cook them in micro for about 2 min)
-stir in 1 scoop whey into the oats
-then I drink another scoop whey with water seperate from oats

Coffee grinder is best. You can use a shaker bottle this way and not have to clean your blender.
