I haven't been following the political races all that closely, but whenever I see Giuliani all that is ever mentioned around him is 9/11. I think he did a great job with the city during that tragedy, but it seems like the press (and his oppenents) are really getting on him about it during this election.

Do you think Hillary is exploiting being a woman, or Barak is exploiting being black?

Ask yourself this question:

If 9/11 never occured, do you think anyone would care about Guliani? My guess is no.

Another excellent point. But these two don't really have to try to exploit their gender or race. They don't really have to draw much attention to these facts for them to affect voting.

He'd still be the most hated mayor in history to us locals. And the only Nosferatu to ever hold a government post.

Well, Bush won using fear tactics. Rudy simply is following the effective playbook.

yes but bad strategy because it is an already lose lose sitaution for Rep. so it better to fight clean and then the people will automaticly talk what he did and more not only the 9/11

Bush won the first time by being against nation building and the ideas of getting Congress to get spending under control. Hey, I've been asleep the last 6.5 years- how's that going???

Just because he's a guinea, don't make assumptions.
Heck, JFK certainly had mob ties.
