View Full Version : Starting my velocity diet. Does this look right?

Well I've decided that I want to give the velocity diet a run. Here's my stats:

5'8"
168-170 lbs depending on the day
Bench: 210
Squat: 345ish
Dead: 345ish

My calorie limits:

Non-workout days - 1300
Workout days - 1600

What I will be drinking/eating on non workout days:
9 protein shakes (Nitrean protein powder which is a blend containing, whey and casein etc. It has 24g of protein per scoop so I will have 4 shakes with 2 scoops and 1 shake with 1 scoop. Each scoop has <2 g of carbs) 1st shake of the day will have 16 oz of skim milk for added cals and energy.

- 1150 cals

10 capsules of flax seed oil capsules

- 100 cals

20 Fish oil capsules

-200 cals

Total - 1450 cals

The only thing I will change on workout days is perhaps a gatorade or some orange juice during the workout for added calories and carbs.

I also have a lot of fiber supplements around my house so if needed I will take those.

Does this seem right to you guys? I really really do not want to mess this diet up so please give me any criticism you might have.

I just noticed that maybe I should be taking real flax seeds instead of the flax seed oil. Is there a real difference? Can someone shed some light? Thank you!!!

Well after recieving my products I have revised my plan. Here is what I have

+ 1 gatorade about 100 cals

Total = 1530 cals

One problem I have is that I accidentally got flax seeds that are whole and not milled. This causes a problem when trying to down a shake with them because they are all at the bottom. Could I use a blender to just ground them up?! Thanks for reading. Any comments are appreciated.

Looks good. Flax oil is fine. I hate the seeds anyway .. im taking in about 25 Fishoil caps and no flax.

ahh i don't have the oil though, i actually ordered the flax seeds and didnt realize they would be whole seeds haha. so im guessing i can blend them in the blender then add the water and protein powder so it goes down easier. i really hope that works :) i hope to see my abs after this 28 day stretch. imo im not that far from that goal because i can see my top abs and maybe even 4 abs if i flex them.

made it through the first day easy. workout was good, took some basic cuts for energy and felt great. took 2 hoodia also to help appetite. its easy so far but im sure that'll change

Very awesome. This is my sixth day in, and its going pretty solid. First day my stomach was going nuts, but now not so much as a rumble out of it. I've got the feeling the further we get into it, the easier it is.

well i weighed intoday on day at almost 4 lbs lighter lol. of course it's water weight but i was plateud for nearly 3 weeks so it's kinda nice to see that. i'll continue with the shakes and stuff today and i'm sure it should be fine. i have that motivation right now and that is overpowering those urges by far.
