View Full Version : New to the workout scene, looking to make some improvements on myself

Okay, I am new to this whole thing and I need a little help. My boyfriend is really into the body building kind of stuff but guys are different than girls so I want some girl advice.

I would really like to lose weight and tone up. Currently I weigh around 135-140 and I am looking to be around 120-125 because I am not very tall.

Right now I am taking CLA pills (4000 mg) before every meal and eating around 1200-1500 calories a day.

I am also going to the gym around 3 or 4 times week and doing 15 minutes of high intensity cardio as well as some simple work outs with dumbells.

Am I on the right track for my goal weight and toning? Does anyone have any ideas of any websites that may help with dumbell training or does anyone have any ideas of what I should be doing now?
