well here it goes, i'm having trouble staying on track and need this to help me, being fit and comfortable with myself means everything to me right now.

deit, 40/40/20 split, usually all clean foods, around 2500 cals a day.

7 - shake with banana, berries, skim milk and whey

??? - chicken/turkey/tuna on whole wheat with fruit, the ??? is becuase i have no idea when i'll have time to eat lunch, will be inbetween 12-1 once i go back to school.

2 - fruit or mini carrots washed down with water

5-6 - supper, anything my mom makes, i eat complex carbs, salads and lean meats with skim milk or water

post workout- scoop of whey in water(will also have almonds afterwards, it just my usually rotuine)


supps, whey protien, multi vitmain.

workout

monday- HIIT
tuesday- weights(always alternating muslce groups)
wesnesday- HIIT
thursday- weights
friday- HIIT
saturday- weights

lots of the tuesday thursday workout are half assed becuase the track is open for practice(i race motocross) now that its getting darker i have some more time, will be closed for winter soon so then i'll have lots of time for working out.

goals, losing more fat until i'm fairly skinny, then going on a clean bulk, then maybe cutting again for beach season/summer. i have no plans after that yet.

i'm gonna continue to cut until my man boobs are gone, however long it takes. i will post how i did everyday.

was a crappy day, i worked my ass off all day, barely ate anything except when the boss took me out for lunch, i just had a sandwich(seemed healthy but tasted salty, not good) and i had some fries, they are the devil.

tomorrow should be close to normal day!

been eating good as of late. went to the mx track tuesday thursday cuase i have a big race coming up sept 16th. that should account for my tuesday thursday workouts good enough. tonight is HIIT, i'll do it at about 8.

why doesn't any one post in here?

today i pumped iron for 1 hour. i didn't do it all week becuase of motocross practice, but tonight i got caught up.

i ate good today, pretty clean. i also found some nut mix that can easily be used to counteract craving, its got almonds, peanuts, cashews and raisens, also has the odd smarty, lol. it really tasty and is a clean cheat.

looking foward to mondays weigh in.....

rest day today. ate really clean and went goose hunting, didn't get anything though, didn't even shoot was a terrible evening hunt. weigh in at about 6:45 tomorrow monring.

weigh in was great this morning, i was somewhere in the high 180's. my scale is crappy so i'm not 100% sure the number, but it was inbetween 185-190. i was so happy, i thought i was stuck for a while, its been 3 weigh in's since the scale moved, and i ate out once this week!

HIIT night tonight, but i have alot to do so might not do it.

i got everything i needed to do, done, and still banged out a hard HIIT session. this morning in the shower i was looking down, and i could really see a difference. my stomach seems to be getting thinner on the sides but still has a ridge in the middle. it keeps me motivated. i am going to buy a digital scale so my weigh in's can become more exact. i ate really good today and even tried a new food, rolled oats mixed with rasberry yogurt, was pretty tastey i read about it in the nutrition forum. oh ya and....


SOMEONE PLEASE POST IN HERE, I DID THIS FOR MOTIVATION, SO ANY ENCOURAGING COMMENT IS WELCOME AND APPREICATED.

well during my workout tonight i felt weak, i came back from a long goose hunt(involved a ton of walking) and then i vigerously played with my dog(pure bred german shepard) for like 30 mintues, i went to work out and the 25lbs dumb bell felt heavy!

is it time to take a week off maybe

felt good all day today, HIIT tonight. no goose hunting though, lol, i just have to get my race bike back together for sundays race. i'll make a post about how the HIIT went.

last night was a good weight work out, felt good but i think i'm becoming weaker. today i skipped HIIT, want to save myself for sundays race. lame excuse maybe, idk.

i should make note that not included in the chart is a shot of rye, frozen yogurt, salad dressing and BBQ sauce. i also had a bit of mixed nuts. i was trying to eat clean and couldn't get my cals up to where i wanted....

i kept up the high cal days, i want to be in good shape for the race tomorrow.

but i scared myself today, i went back to the old me that got me here, i found myself bored, looking for something to eat. i gobbled alot of foods down and wanted sweets and junk but stopped myself, it was just like what i always used to do, but i always did it with cake, moms baking, etc. might sound lame but it scared me, that weird person inside who says "EAT" is still there, i guess more HIIT will kill him......

but i feel great, i feel full of energy and strong. looking in the mirror i can see my ribs like crazy, but still have man boobs, my stomach is also shrinking a little, i'm making some progress. its exciting. i cannot wait to bulk, some time this fall i'll be "thin enough" to bulk.

i did good at my race today, 6th overal, only one bad wipe out.

weigh in is tomorrow, also this week my goal is to eat 100% clean. i did this before, challenged myself not to eat the tiniest bit of anything unhealthly for 7 days, and i did it so i'm doing that again.

i've been eating clean and working out hard. i did my 20 mintues of steady state cardio after lifting today, that went good. today was my first day of doing flye's. i liked them.

my veins are starting to show on my forearm too, crazy!

sept. 24th weigh should be on target, i ate super clean and feel pretty good. been really active all week plus my routine. i just started eating chocolate whey, umm its so dang good. mixed with water it tastes like chocolate milk, no kidding.

anyway, the long term goal i made in augest doesn't look like it'll be reached, i wanted to start my bulk on october 1st, doesn't look good. maybe by nov. 1st i can. i gotta keep cutting for now. it should only be about another month!

well i just stared at myself in the mirror for a while and i look my best ever, my arms are lean and fairly big, my stomach and bitch tits are going away, the shoulder blades really popped out, legs are really lean, man i'm loving it.

i weighed in at 184 monday morning :)

but on monday i had some chewy candies and a fancy coffee, today i had potato wedges and a non deit drink......i did the gym hard though so i still should be on track for my next weigh in.

Good work so far man keep it up. It looks like your going at a good pace and it proves that you can cut and enjoy yourself now and again with a mild cheat. Keep it up man.

hey thanks for posting something in here! and thanks for the comment. i wish more poeple would pop in here.

today was a normal day except i had cravings after not eating clean for a few days, i had some frozen yogurt and a reisen chewy chocolate candy thing.

i did a hard HIIT session so i'm sure it burnt off, another calorie deficit day in the books for CR Racer :)

tonight i skipped my hiit cardio. i was talking to a guy i haven't seen in a year probably, hes a big guy works out like crazy and he asked me "what, did your mom stop feeding you or something?" from him i thought that was a compliment. i guess he see's i'm getting thinner. :)

hardly ate anything today, was on a 7 hour quad ride. ate some fruit and water and its supper time soon, it'll be a low cal day but a unhealthly low cal day.

i weighed in at 180 pounds yesterday, crazy, i was so happy but thought i might be losing muscle too, so this week i'll eat more clean foods and keep the same work out routine. still cutting though these damned man boobs won't F off.

feeling ****ty as of late. don't have the motivation to work out anymore. i didn't lose any weight last week. too much pumkin pie i suppose.

Link to your journal in your sig so people can become aware of it and easily find it... that's how most of us build a following.

Your weight loss is going pretty well, but you can't keep up 2 pounds per week forever. 180 pounds at 6'2"? You're almost there, and you should start looking at 0.5 to 1 pound per week.

Working out is only fun when you make gains... if you're cutting, it sucks. Though the ass at the gym is nice. :)

CR is a motorcycle right? In which case watch yourself riding that thing... I know a guy who lost his dick riding one. :(

Hey bro, don't let a few days get ya down.

This isn't suppose to be torture, it's a life change. You should be able to function normal while still making progress, know what I mean?

Eat right, adn find a way to still hit your protein and calorie goals while still eating some pumpkin pie =P

Do you have any daily calorie / protein goals setup?
How about a workout?

thanks frostfox, yes CR is a motorcycle. i have a CR 250, i race motocross. and for the loss, i haven't lost in a while, been at 180. hopefully tomorrow morning will show a difference on the scale. i'll be bulking soon.

derick, i eat 40/40/20, i go for about 200 grams of protien a day, and about 2400 cals. for workouts, monday, wednesday and friday i do hiit for 35 mintues. for weights i have it all written down but forget it, throughout the week i do concentration curls, shrugs, elevated and flat bench, elevated and flat flyes, tricep extensions, skull crushers, shoulder press, leg extension, calf raise, bent over rows. i don't have any time in the morning right now, but in febuary that wil change so i'm joining the weight room at school and going there in the morning to do stuff i can't do at home, i will have a harsh leg workout then.

this week i just wore a shirt and jeans to school, i usually wear a hoodie. i got 2 comments on how thin i was looking :)

2 weeks until bulk, i'm sick of cutting, i want to pack on a few pounds of lean muslce mass and then hit the cut hard again. if i could gain 8 pounds of muscle and 2-3 pounds of fat during my bulk that would be awesome. i figure after my bulk it'll take me about 2 months to get lean enough. we'll see.

had another calorie deficit day, but i need to eat more clean foods less dirty foods. for the next 2 weeks my deit will be 100% perfect. i'm talking 40/40/20, -500 cals and clean!

I had the same thought, hah..
I was sick of cutting, but now that I'm bulking for a few months (until early december) I just can't wait until I can cut again and show what I've gained!

Bulking?

It's pretty much the same as cutting, except you eat more - and tone down the cardio.

Instead of eating 500cals under maintenance, eat 300+ cals over maintenance.

I added a NO product to my bulk though (White Flood) and some protein veriety like Syntrax Nectar Lemonaid...

I eat a lot, and lift hard =P

A muscle gaining workout is good too - you're not going for endurance on a bulk, so keep the reps to the low-mid range. Endurance doesn't require muscle mass, which a bulk is.

I'm bulking on 3.2k - ish btw, with a goal of 300g or so protein.. very roughly.

Honestly I don't watch my cals or macros as strictly as cutting, it's nice.

Ya gotta eat dense foods, sure - but ya gotta maintain the high proteins too...

Instead of drinking water with my meals, I've changed to milk+choco whey, chocolate milk rocks =P

I've also doubled a lot of my food intakes - instead of 1 or no bread with a meal - I'll have 2.
Instead of 1/4cup of cheese, I'll have half cup..

And I've basically added a whole additional meal to my day.

Bulking seems natural.

A huge container is like 2-3$ and has many servings..

Just scoop 1 coop in a bowl, add water, and microwave for 1-2 minutes.

ya can then add some whey, and splenda, or even some peanut butter.

been doing ok lately. just finished my chest and back workout, flat and incline bench, flat and incline flyes, and for back i did bent over rows.

followed by 20 mintues cardio. i was sweating pretty good, took me 1 hour 10 mintues total, that included breaking for a scoop of whey.

can't wait til weigh in.

PS: still can't get a GF though :(

Haha, I don't visit the websites - I've just seen the DVD's and read the occasional email newsletter.

Lot's of really good advice that has helped me tons..

ya some poeple have told me "its all in the mouth peice" but i still can't get a girl. i thought about asking this one girl out but i don't know, shes ok looking but has kinda been around i think. oh well i guess i'll just try talk to her next time shes around.

still chugging along. did a new shoulder workout last night, read about it in muscle and strenght. seemed to target my front shoulder nicely. my ab work out is getting easier every time, next time i'm going to use a big rubber ball and do some stuff with that. weigh in is tomorrow, i seem bloated though so it may not show any change. this week i made a deal with myself. if i go all week without having 1 little treat(i often have 1 little thing a day, like a little candy or sugar in my coffee) i can have a slurpee with a few gummie candies on monday. i haven't had any sugar or candy, and my mom bought some too so its been tough but i never cheated. looked like tomorrow i'm gonna have some gummie candies and a slurpee, lol. i forgot to add in yesterday that i made some protien bars. they turned out ok but i used regular pudding mix, instead of fat free sugar free. they turned out ok and taste really well. i made a single recipe and cut it up into 16 peices, each peice has 10 grams or protien and 110 calories.

Hah, I feel ya.

I ate a huge burrito and a shake once, then some other crap - and I stood over the toiler for 5 minutes my stomach was wrenching =P

I felt weak during my workout yesterday,
I 'cheated' today, not really cheated, but I made some soup and didn't count calories today and probably had around 400 carbs - I think I'll have a really good workout tomorrow because of today. I hope.

ya carbs give me loads of energy, becuase i'm addicted to carbs, now that i cut them back i usually feel tired. one day i had about 400 grams of carbs and felt like a squirrel on crack cocaine.

well, i guess this is it. the end of my log. i weighed in at 175 this morning. thats 50 pounds total weight loss for me. i couldn't have done it without you guys. i'm not gonna name anybody becuase i know i'll miss some, but you know who you are.

whats next? well, i'd like to be bigger and stronger, so i'm going to be bulking for the next 3, maybe 4 months. then i'll be back on a cutting cycle again.

this ends my log, thanks for reading and posting. like i said i couldn't have done it without the great poeple on this forum.
