I was just wondering if the maltodextrin in Walden Farms products like their BBQ sauce and chocolate syrup is anything to be concerned about?

Thank

I wouldn't worry about malto in anything. It's not as bad as people make it out to be. I know they read that it is high GI but it doesn't correlate in the real world. Bodybuilders for years have used Meal Replacements (metrx for example) that contains malto and they have used it in their precontest prep.

there's malto in splenda, too, but it's not enough to make a difference. and malto is a polysaccharide, so it's not near as bad as other sugars
