Hey, guys. Well, I've been trying to lower my BF percentage in the past few weeks with dieting, cardio in the morning 2-3 times per week, lifting as heavy as I can, Lipoderm-Y, Cuts 2 with Chromium by Prolab, and Guggolbolic. So far, I've had little success, which isn't that disheartening to me since this is my first time trying to cut, but here's my little problem. BTW, I'm 5'11", at 200 lbs, with a body kinda like Soc's, but he's a bit bigger than me and more cut. I still got me ole lovehandles and a bit of a gut.

I'm part of Army ROTC in my university, which basically means that we do a lot of cardio and bodyweight strength workouts (push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups, etc). Right now, I'm sure I'll have PT (physical training) 3 times per week, Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, starting at 6:00 AM or 6:30 AM, when sophomore year finally starts on August 16th. It will last for approx 50 minutes. Not exactly sure yet though on all of this, as the cadre is revamping PT for this coming year. This PT rises to even more (5 days per week, high intensity, at 5 or 5:30 AM for 50 mins) if I decide to go out for the Ranger Challenge competition with some others in my battalion. However, Ranger Challenge PT is separate from regular battalion PT. My question is this: Should I stop cutting for now and start bulking, in preparation for all this PT? Start bulking when the school year starts? Bulk for a month in July and then maintain? Or what?

Thanks, guys. :)

Hey Buddy:)

I would continue to cut and add creatine. You'll get strength and endurance, and get lean at the same time. You're an Endo, right?

Yeah, I'm beginning to think I am an Endo, and I already use MRM's CreActiv and I like it a lot. :) Do you think that's good stuff to use?

Is it micronized with added stuff? I would think so. As long as it has no where near the sugar content of CellTech.

Well, it's got 70 grams of dextrose per serving, simple carbs. Is this too much, you think? Thanks, 97. :)

Damn. A CellTech knockoff(or vice versa).

You gotta stop using it. It's most likely making you fat. :(

Well, I don't take the entire serving, cause of that 70 grams; thought it was too much, so I take a scoop and a half, which is about 50 grams. MRM is supposed to be a reputable and good company. Grrr.... *Sighs*

So is EAS, but some of their line is crap.

Contiune using it at half the dose then. But for future reference stick to plain micronized creatine.

Sounds good, 97LT. I'll use it with a scoop and a half, instead of the regular two scoop serving. What creatine would you suggest buying after I finish this 4 lb tub of questionable crap? Thanks. :)

Members choice is Prolab's
I use Dymatize.

Thanks, 97LT. :) BTW, I know you suggested to buy Prolab's ZMA, so I am, and I'm also getting some more 100% Whey and Pro-Complex from Optimum. Any other supplements you might suggest to help build up the muscle or at least maintain it? Already using Prolab Glutamine. Going to make an order from bb.com tonight, so I'm making sure my supplements are covered for July. Thanks. :)

Prolab? I think i said Twinlab's. You are one the right track.
Protien
creatine
ZMA
Glutamine

And if you haven't already, a mutivitamin. And it's ok. I wish i had someone to help me when i had questions like yours. I just made my own decisions, some were bad ones. At least you will fare better than i did.
