View Full Version : Weights, then cardio...what about the protein?

Hi....just a quick question around protein intake during a weights-cardio session. If I am doing weights, followed immediately by a cardio session....should I be waiting to drink down my protein shake after the cardio session, or before I start? My main goal is fat loss....so am I hurting the process if I consume the protein shake prior to the cardio?

not unless your protein shake has carbs if it is carbless youre golden

Not 100 percent on this but I'm pretty sure if yer doing cardio after weights you want to space it out and wait several hours. I believe cardio right after hinders yer muscle gain.
