Egg whites have no fat therefore will have less calories than a whole boiled egg.

They mean 1 egg white without the yolk, not a white egg.

A whole egg is 70 calories. 6G of protein per egg.

Each white has between 3-4G of protein. I usually call it even and say 3.5. It also depends on the size of the egg and the size of the yolk within the said egg.

All the fat/cholesterol/vitamins/minerals are in the yolk.

All the fat/coholesterol is good.

Dietary cholesterol has no effect what so ever on your cholesterol levels.

Your question? Yes eggs are the best source of protein next to mothers breast milk for a baby. And whey protein.

Your other question? No it does not modify the amount of calories in the egg.

The white will generally have 12-17 calories or so, depending on size.

The entire egg, yolk and white, will generally have 70 calories, depending on the size.
