Hi, i have been working on getting the excercise and weight lifting part of my mission down pat and now i need help on wether i should try bulking or cutting a bit.

Here are my stats: Female, 5'6.5'' 120- 122 pounds, 17.7 % body fat.

Also i lift 4-5 days a week for about 45 min- 60 min and do cardio at least 5 days a week for 45- 60 min

Your thoughts?

I'd say maintain and eat around maintenance...just get in overall great shape and see how you feel after a few weeks. If you want to be stronger then increase calories a little bit, but don't necessarily bulk...maybe 200 over daily maintenance.

...also would need to know what your diet looks like now, your cals per day, and what they consist of...it might be as easy as just adding more protein to your diet, depending how much u eat now

do what Im doing. Im 6'2 only 190 lbs,,,but Im still going to cut up and try to get my bf down to about 8%. its about 14% now. I know I'll look on the very thin side for a while,,,but it will look good once I start bulking in the fall

at a very low bodyfat you have less energy and strenght so putting on muscle is harder

well,,,,,I figure increasing complex carbs once my low bodyfat goal is reached should give me a quick increase of endurance I would think

If you want more muscle you really have no choice but to bulk as slowly and cleanly as possible, and if you gain more muscle relative to fat, your bf% will decrease, not to mention the fat will be easier to lose when you're done.
