I am in the process of trying to lose weight. I am basically eating a cutting diet. 5 meals a day. Steel cut oatmeal, whole grains, chicken, vegetables, fish/flax oil etc. Well I am getting sick of eating broccoli. I wanted to switch it up and started eating sugar snap peas. I LOVE THEM. But usually when I love something it means its bad for you. Now obvioulsy this is a still a vegetable but as far as a cutting diet goes, are these ok to eat? Do they have a high caloric value or a high glycemix index or anythign else I need to worry about or can i just eat a bunch of them and not worry about it? I guess because of the fact they have "sugar" in the name worried me.

they, as with all vegetables are perfectly fine in anyones diet as long as they fit into your daily macros.

All real food is good for you, its the pre packaged "junk food" like most boxed cereal bars,candys and chips that are bad.
