The Rich + Hearty soups are a great meal for college students.

You can get them on sale for $1 a piece, and they taste pretty damn good.

Nutritional Facts: (per serving, 2 servings per container)


Sirlion Steak + Veggies:

Fat: 1g
Sat Fat: 0
Sodium: 990mg
Carbs: 19g
Fiber: 2g
Sugar: 4g
Protein: 11g

Chicken Pot Pie:

Fat: 3.5g
Sat Fat: 1g
Sodium: 970 mg
Carbs: 21g
Fiber: 2g
Sugar: 2g
Protein 8g

So getting 22g of protein and 38g of quality carbs from the steak for $1 is a great deal

The chicken pot pie tastes alot better tho =D

And yes there's lots of preservatives, but this isn't mean to be a perfect meal, just better than a protein bar on the go

Thats alot of sodium for only 22grams of protein

i agree, and to help with that I just eat the meat + vegetables, and leave the leftover broth (of which there's quite a bit) to greatly reduce the sodium

thanks for the tip! I am going to stock up on some of those
