I am 6'3" at 230 lbs, at around 14-16 BF% and was wondering if I'm taking too much protein.

I lift 3-4 times a week and do cardio 3-4 times as well. I don't do HIIT, good ol' regular moderate intensity 45 minute cardio and burn around 750 calories.

My daily nutritional values are:

Calories: 2150
Fat: 40.5 grams
Carbs: 153 grams
Protein: 325 grams

I'm trying to cut as much as possible while maintaining muscle. What do you all think? I'm 21 years old.

Looks perfectly fine to me. Maybe a little higher on the carbs once or twice a week.

On second thought the calories are a little low. Im 6'3" 235lbs, and I know there is is no way I would be able to maintain everything and cut with that few of calories.

Yeah actually I should say a bit more (200-300 more) than that for calories, I put a jumbo egg in my protein shakes (twice a day). Thanks though! :)

There's no such thing as too much protein. 1.5- 2gram/pd IMO is best... after that the law of diminishing returns starts to curve pretty steep.

Thats not a very healthy diet. ESPECIALLY for 235lbs 16% !!!

I am 6'3, 220 20% fat, i on a cutting diet i eat 3500-4000 cals!!!

I normally lift 3 days a week, but i rather work 6 times, i do cardio 15 mins every morning, i follow a 50-30-20, on a 4000 cal diet thats 500 carbs, 300 protein, 90g fat *(healthy fat supps though like flax, evacado and olive)

i would definatly replace some protein for carbs, i dont know how you get through your workouts with that amount of carbs, not to mention the rest of the day!

You mean I'm eating too low on the carb side? Hmmm. Maybe I'll add some more oatmeal and brown rice. THanks.

please do a search for raw eggs

there are many reasons why you shouldn't consume them and no reasons why you should
