I was once told that sweating while working out wasnt good...
that when you sweat.. of course.. you lose water...
your muscles are 75% water.. therefore losing muscle...
so you should drink water while working out to replinish what you lost.. and keep dry by wiping with a towel often...

and comments?

of course. i drink from the water fountain between every set. If I really concentrate on my lifts, i dont sweat that much, which is when i make my best gains by the way. I've been trying recently to do this more often, but sometimes i rush and therefore sweat and therefore not lift as much cause i'm worn out.

so would it be a good idea to lift slow?

nothing wrong with sweating. it's unavoidable sometimes.
just drink water.
about 1 gulp every 10 minutes of weights should do ya fine.
cardio needs more.

yeah, take your time and get your form right.. even if it means lowering the weights. since i've lowered the weights on some of my lifts and concentrated on form my muscles have been gaining and becoming more defined. but i also have been eating a little more as well.
