What are the bad effects of having too much sodium in your diet?

Will I get better results if I limit my sodium intake to the minimum required?

only thing you have to be concerned with is possible high blood pressure.

i had read an article on this website that said Sodium holds in water, so if your looking to get REALLY cut you could look more puffy with alot of sodium in your system

I notice if I go out to a restaurant(usually high salt no matter what I order) that I will look a lil bloated the next day. However, latley when I go out to eat I will make sure to drink extra water so this will not happen.

Remember guys, messing around with sodium levels may help cut water for shows and such, but make sure your potassium levels are in check too. Potassium goes hand in hand with sodium to regulate cell water activity (including muscle cells), a VERY important function for the body as this flushes out toxins and by-products.
Good sources of potassium: bananas, potatoes, tomatoes, avocados.

Water retention is a temporary condition which changes from day to day.
