is it worth it to push cardio in the morning and cardio at night? That way you can burn some calories in the morning and some calories that you consumed the whole day? GregElder suggested to do cardio 3-4 weeks before your cutting ends.

Yes. Yes. Yes. :)

I plan on doing cardio 2x a day starting in january.

Next semester, my routine will look like:

monday: chest biceps then cardio
tues cardio am, then pm
wed: back triceps then cardio
thurs cardio am then pm
fri: legs and abs then cardio
then saturday, maybe more cardio :) :)

I'd be doing cardio 2x a day now if i was physically capable.

the only problem with 2x a day cardio is losing muscle but I should be fine if I eat enough carbs(not cardio haha) before I run and consume alot of protein or maybe not but then again i just wanna see if i'll make any progress that way.

Nah! Douse yourself in protein shakes before and after every session. That's what GregElder did, and I think we can all agree he is nicely chisled now.
