View Full Version : Is my pre/post workout diet plan ok?

I'll try and keep this as short as possible (please let me know if you need more detail)

Currently 30 minutes before I workout I have a piece of whole wheat bread and a whey protein shake (36 grams protein).

After my workout I have 1 whole egg with 3 whites plus a piece of whole wheat toast. (I have 5 other small meals during the rest of the day but won't go into the breakdown of those just yet).

I am currently 34 years old, relatively lean, and am looking to get more definition and size.

Is this a decent pre/post workout diet plan? Or should I supplement?

Any advice would be great... thanks in advance.

switch the whole wheat toast that you eat post workout, to a piece of white bread to get a better insulin spike to restore glycogen.
