good effort man, are you on supps? be careful, at nearly 300lbs and only on 2000cals a day, with that much cardio, are you feeling dizzy or tried?

no supplements no atkins no gimmicks

just hard work and discipline

No, actually now that my stomach has shrunk some, I usually get full for the day with 1700 cals a day but I force myself to go 2000

So when you are as big as I am - how long does it take for you to notice things like clothes getting bigger?

I've yet to notice this.

I'd hate to think all my loss so far was all fluid.

i dont want to be a downer but i would say the majority of it might be water weight. at 6ft and 300lb, your body probably held a lot of fluids. im not pulling this out of nowhere because i use to weigh 275lb and i am also 6ft. my clothes didnt feel loose until around 230lb. went from size 40 waist to 30. dont worry, if you keep it up, im sure youll lose many more pounds. 2000 cals is a good number to work with. im at 170lbs right now so it's all about discipline, which you seem to have.

edit: please take this oppurtunity to lift weights because if you dont, youll lose muscle mass along with your fat. when i lost weight, i didnt know weight lifting helped but i did it anyway. im glad i did because i kept my strength while losing weight.

Increase it for a week to reset your metabolism (hopefully). or boost your cardio. But don't worry about it until it happens :)

Holy **** dude!! Another person like me who can lose weight fast and easily. Not to mention we weigh the same almost.

Im on a 1500-2000 calorie diet,no sugar,good carbs only.

I picked up these wheat wraps made by "la tortillia company" which have high fiber, low carb and only 50 or so calories.

Eggs in the wrap for breakfast.
Tuna or lean lunch meat for lunch in a wrap.
Salad for dinner.

Nuts as a snack and thats IT.

Cheers!

I'll have to check out those tortillas - that with some non fat refried beans would be really high in fiber and protein.

They are amazing.

http://www.latortillafactory.com/ProductsLCnew.htm

The bigger ones have 30 more calories,I think they have 16 grams of fiber while the little 50 calorie ones have 8 grams.

They rock for dieting.

That averages out to 2.5lbs a week. Awesome man :) Keep working at it!

Here is my advice for the day: You're not just training to lose fat, you are training so that you will be prepared to do battle with the coming plataues! I was losing 2.5lbs a week for a few months too, but it's come to a screeching halt that i have to break through.
