I have been working out for about a year and a half and love it so much, I don't lift extremely heavy weight but enough that I see improvement and I maintain what I have. I just wanted to streamline my body. One thing that I do have to say is that I am a cardio junkie and anytime I put on a few pounds I resort right back to my old ways. I am going to change up my workout a bit, weights on Mon,Wed,Fri and cardio Tue,Thurs,Sat. I use to do both cardio and weights on the same day but I am going to change that a bit and just do about 20 min warm up on weight days and 30 to 45 min on cardio days. I am stuck right now with a few pounds I recently gained as I posted in the nutrition section due to too many fats in my diet, I am hoping that this will help, any advice from anyone? Thanks Cad2

You shouldn't do more that 10 minutes as a warm up. 20 minutes is too much, it's more of a workout than a warm up, then you will just be too tired to lift with intensity.
