View Full Version : Am I eating right?

Hi,
This is my first post to this forum. I have started working out since 3 months. I am 22 and very skinny. I wanted to know whether what I'm eating is right or not.
9:00 am - 1 glass of milk
11:00 am - 1 glass of milk with two eggs (white and yellow) in it, 4 bananas
1:00 pm - 1 glass of milk with two eggs (white and yellow) in it, 1 large bolied
potato, 1 glass of juice
Workout at 4:30 pm
5:45-6:00 pm - Myoplex Deluxe Supplement
8:30-9:00 pm - 1 sandwhich (40 gms carbs), salad which includes 1 tomato,
1 carrot, 100gms corn, 1 beetroot

Your eating plan could use some work. Please read this thread http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=290201 for some suggestions on eating (and training). Basically, you need to take your total calories for the day and divide by 5 or 6, depending on how many meals you plan to eat. So if you are going to eat 1800 calories over 6 meals, each one should consist of roughly 300 calories. Within each meal, you want a balance of protein, carbs (complex and/or fibrous) and fat (good ones). If you decide that you want to eat in the ratio of 40% protein, 40% carb and 20% fat, for instance, then each meal should fit this profile. You can use fitday (www.fitday.com) to help you track your calories and macro-nutrients. Finally, you will probably want to pay attention to pre- and post-workout nutrition, but I recommend getting through the basics of healthy eating first.

I eat around that much in one meal man, you need to start eating more... if your really skinny you need to be eating like 4 or 5 times that ammount per day!

looks good to me if ur goal is cutting or maintaining...women usually dont like to get to bulky and ur diet seems good for cutting however, if your trying to build muscle than its horrible
