Is there any disadvantage to having a turkey sandwich as a 5pm snack over a bowl of brown rice with turkey?
I read somewhere too much bread was bad for you...

Its fine as long as its 100% whole wheat. Some wheat breads try to fool you with saying "multi-grain", and other healthy sounding versions, but many of the fiber and nutrients are still stripped.

Some breads arn't too nutritionally endowed, and considering brown rice is a natural product, I would prefer that. Saying that IU eat ww bread all the time.

i eat bread for the convenience factor, overall i suspect that brown rice is superior to 90% or more of the breads out there.
