View Full Version : vegetarian discrepencies

i'm 5'2 and 117 lbs. due to health and moral reasons, i am now a vegetarian (but still eat animal byproducts like cheese, milk, eggs...) my goal is to lose weight (be 110-115 lbs), increase lean body mass, and lower my body fat (apologies for not having the details for you).

unfortunately, my diet lacks protein and i have been consuming a lot of carbs. my workout routine consists of 4 days per week working 2 muscle groups per day and doing 3 exercises per muscle group with 3 sets of 15-20 reps, then finish with 30-45 min cardio.

my questions are:
1) what changes should i make to my diet? (as in quantity, frequency, and what exactly i'm eating.)
2) what changes should i make to my workout routine?
3) what supplements should i consider taking?

It is really not that hard to do. I don't have much problem following a 40/40/20 or 35/35/30 split. Since you eat eggs and dairy, you will have even more options than those outlined in my post.
