This is my first one so it's probably erroneous...help me out!

5'9 155 lbs 16% bf trying to get down to 150 and then bulk. I dropped from 178 at 25% bodyfat and I think I lost quite a bit of muscle in the beginning. Here's my cutting plan for about 2 weeks...

I think we all know why you lost muscle. 1500 calories is way too little. Have you even accurately calculated your caloric requirements?

I agree...1500 is pretty low. But after calculating BMI, my mantinence fell around 2000kcals, so I figured 1500 would be alright for everyday. On days where I workout I would up the calories another 300 or so.

It was probably a typo but for your 6:30 pm meal i'm assuming since you wrote am, you're having 1 POUND (lb) of chicken w/ spinach and broccoli. Those macro numbers are way off then if it is really a pound of boneless skinless chicken, i know the type i buy every 3 oz contains 120 calories and 28g of protein.

Assuming no exercise, you probably need around 2100-2200 calories a day. I wouldn't cut 300 under that. It's simply not healthy to eat so little. You're just going to lose more and more muscle and feel like ****.
