View Full Version : Dieting, yet gaining weight and bodyfat, lifts going up...grr...

Last week my bodyfat was 15.5% at I believe 200 lbs or such, this week i am supposedly at 16.4% (i use FatTrack 2 digital calipers) and my bench and deadlift are increasing. I have done the most on bench ever in fact, I did 195 for 5 reps. My bench has always been weak. The thing is I've been doing morning fasted state cardio low intensity for about an hour the past week 3 times a week, and normal lifting 3 days a week. I'm probably actually even eating less than i should. Now I could understand bodyfat going up if im eating too little, but not strength gains at the same time. So... I dunno maybe my bodyfat measurements were off last week...
