View Full Version : Post your 40/40/20 cut diet

I've been running a decent keto diet for the past 2.5 months, and I have been less than impressed. From reading on these boards and others, I'm considering coming over to a standard 40/40/20.

My problem is that I'm so used to just going zero zero zero carbs as often as possible and then carbing up huge on weekends -- I really don't know how to break down my day into 5-6 meals that will average our to the correct ratios.

I know people advise lots of rolled oats or cottage cheese or brown rice or this or that and so on.... But how/when do you more experienced guys do it?

If at all possible, I'd just like to see examples of people's average diet to get a feel for how it's done.

Stats in case you're curious: I'm 23, 5'10, ~250lbs, decent muscle, but pretty fat. I have a desk job, but i train 3x week, cardio 2-3x week.

Any guidance?
