Mmm I love these too! I like the Nature Valley Oat and Honey Granola Bar. My only complaint is that they are a little messy. Also, if you have one then I'd make sure to have some protein with it too.

Just with granola bars and bars in general watch the sugar content.

No, not at all healthy.

They're full of sugar, and contain HFCS.

What about cereal?

It's probably a better option than the bars, but it still contain sugar so it's not the best. Dosen't the cereal contain pieces from the bars too... I wonder if it's just the same thing.

I'm not talking the nature valley cereal, just cereal in general.

you need to choose cereal that isn't high in sugar and contains a good amount of protein and fiber. i really like kashi golean cereals.

Depends on the cereal really.. fiber one is good (I like the taste too).

You could also try muffins, or homemade bars. I have a few recipes here - http://terracotta2.googlepages.com/desserts

Lately, I've been doing this:
Mix up - 0.5 cups quick or instant oats, 2 oz (1/4 cup) unsweetened apple juice, and a dash of cinnamon in a bowl. Let sit for 10 minutes, eat.

Then I have a shake made from 1 scoop whey + 8 oz skim milk to round out the meal.

Cereal is fine as long as it's a whole grain and not processed.
Nutritionally oatmeal is king.

I'm kind of against these, I did like them until I found out they contained HFCS.
