View Full Version : I havent been eating mal or dex post workout just fruit what could go wrong?

Um after my workouts which is two times a day I have the following

50 grams whey protein
1 cup milk for insulin whick has 13 grams sugar
and 1 banana

the second time aorund i have

50 grams whey protein
1 cup milk whick has 13 grams sugar
1 apple

am i impedeing my gains by haveing fructose instead of maltodexrin or dextrose is it makeing all my hard work all for nothing is that true?

I would take in more carbs after your workout and not workout twice a day, the fruit is fine, just eat more of it to get the dextrose amount, the rest is mostly fructose that will not go to your muscles but your liver.

you don't have to have maltodextrin or dextrose by the way...just any kind of starch:

oatmeal
potatoes
rice

I personally do a 50/50 split of oats and dextrose post workout with some milk
