i used a body fat scale today and it told me that i have 5.5% body fat.
are these types of scales an accuret form of measuring body fat?

they seem kind of wack, but if you want a cheap and very accurate measuremnt then go bye some body fat calipers, u can get them on the net for like $10-15 and prob in supp stores. they will have the directions in them plus all over the net, but you take a skinfold from your chest, abs and i forgot the other area and then you just put them into a bodyfat calculator you could find on the net it will give you %.

try this thing, you have to enter in some things and measurements, most likely more accurate then one of those scales.

and here is a chart once you figure out your skinfold measurements.
