Are you suppose to drink the water in the tuna can? Cause on the can it says 170g (of tuna) net wt and 120g drained wt. I am guessing wt means water. Can anyone explain?

It's weight ;)
Net weight of 170
Drained weight of 120, so it's 50g of water.
Drink the water if you like, I'm sure it wont hurt ;)
Me personally, I stay away from the fishies

no one wants a soggy tuna sandwich. plus draining it takes away a lot of the sodium, and thats a good thing. peace in the middle east i love grease with my cheese and my sexy 21 year old sleez, she gets on her kneez when i show her the keys to my bentleez.

- drain the water in a bowl, and cook your oats with it.

lol, dude, c'mon - think about this one.

BB #1: "What's the secret to your gains?"

BB #2: "Well, see, whenever I eat some tuna, what I do with the water in the can is..."

Just drain it out. There's nothing in it but sodium really, and that's not really something you need. In fact, if you're anywhere near the average American, you get more than enough already.

As John said, the water is loaded with sodium. I wouldn't keep it.

If that is your idea of 'hardcore', then you have some pretty low standards.
