Should I include the protein that is in wheat products towards my total daily protein intake? For instance, I often eat a low-carb wheat wrap that has 10 grams of protein. Should this 10 grams count? Is this protein from wheat as good as any other protein?

Most proteins from Grams and Wheat are what are called "incomplete proteins". Meaning, they don't have all or just one of the nine EAAs that a complete protein offers. I wouldn't count it, but that just me :D

I use fitday to track my calories, carbs, protein, fat, etc. I count all sources of protein. As a vegetarian, my sources come from wheat, dairy, protein bars/shakes, lentils & beans, soy and nuts. I think it's good to get a variety of proteins.

Know this though ~ Adding certain incomplete protein foods together will make them complete proteins. A good example would be a peanut butter sandwich on whole wheat bread :D

There are thousand other combos

There are thousand other combosI have heard this before, but I have no idea what those combos are except for this^^example. It would be interesting to find out a few more.

Yeah, still count it. You still are consuming protein.

Just make sure you are still getting good sources of protein as well.

that gram of protein although imcomplete, is still 4 calories, leaving them traced out of your diet would results in a major calorie surplus,

i usually shoot for about 250 grams daily and i weigh 185.

Atleast then i know im getting 1 g per lb of body weight in high quality complete sources like milk, eggs, meat ect...
