I'm trying to get to about 190 lb by around the end of August. I weigh 170 right now, but I know I can do it because last summer I gained 30 lb and got to 180 with only protein shakes and a lot of food. This summer however I'm going to take whey protein, micronized creatine or creatine monohydrate, L-glutamine, and L-arginine. There is stuff I've read about cycles for creatine and all but that is assuming the person is going to continue a rigorous weightlifting program after the cycle is over, but since I'm going to college weightlifting is going to have to be a 2 or 3 time a week activity. The reason I say that is because I was thinking that cycling off at any point during the summer would be unnecessary, but I'm posting this to ask so tell me what your experience with it is. I know that protein, creatine, and L-glutamine are the "big three" or whatever so I'm sure there has to be a good daily regimen for it. And when should I take the L-arginine supplement with all that? Thanks!
