View Full Version : Eating Between Workout and Cardio?

I'm starting cutting soon, which means I'll also be starting cardio.

Most of my cardio sessions will be done after my workout, with an additional 1-2 sessions on non-workout days.

My question is, should I eat between lifting and cardio? If so, should it be my regular post-workout meal? Or should I just wait and have a regular post-workout meal after the lifting and cardio?

The post workout meal is critical in my opinion, and should be taken within 30 minutes of putting the last weight down, for maximum benefit. If your cardio sessions are less than 30 minutes then doing the cardio after weights is ok. If your sessions are longer than 30 minutes I'd skip the cardio until another time.
