Just read on article on CNN on how the FBI (Flaky bunch o Idiots) wants the FCC to force Inet providers to provide a back door into their services to eaves drop on peoples communications. This includes voice over IP like XBox, and text messaging. Does anyone think they are starting to get a wee bit terrorist happy by invading our privacy even more so than they have in the past? Do you think they have finally stepped over the fine line of "Right to Privacy" gauranteed by the Constitution? Lets hear your arguments on this one.

They have definitely stepped over the line. And I don't believe for a second that terrorism (Islamic terrorism) is the primary reason. I think the government would like to see a police state, more or less. Now, what the US government would define as terrorism is probably broad in scope. I think of Ruby Ridge and Waco in particular. They are probably trying to fish out any free-thinking "dissenters," a gradual accumulation of names and backgrounds of people who are anti-government; this information woul be used for God-knows what future purpose.

What makes you think they aren't already doing this?

The NSA records 30% of the WORLD'S phone calls. This organization answers to no one except for the president, and are pretty much free to do what they want. They're a lot more powerful then the CIA and FBI.

Even if it was made illegal, what is there to stop them? That's right, nothing can. There end is to protect America, and they basically choose the means to do so, regardless of what legislatures say.

Would not the best thing to do in retailation is use the T word in almost every sentence and the B word and allah akbar i mean flood the net with these comunicados?

but in reality, it would be great if they could stop threats abroad, but with USA being one of the biggest cyber warrior out there, time to dive into deep/dark net.
