View Full Version : Interrupted Sleep

I've been on a cutting diet for about 3 and a half months now. Regular weight training and cardio six times a week (every day minimum 30 minutes 85% - 90% heart rate). However, lately I've started really sleeping badly. I just can't seem to go through more than 3 hours uninterrupted and once I wake up I just can't manage to get back to sleep. Sometimes I manage to get a good night's sleep but mostly I just tend to toss and turn. This never used to be a problem but lately it's really getting bad. Anybody else have this happen to them? Any pointers on what I could do to resolve it? Thanks!

You can try ZMA, if you can get it in SA. If you can't get hold of it, then check this thread out about amounts of Zinc, Magnesium, etc to take to get the same effect : http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=17417

you may be overdoing it a bit, add an extra rest day, see if it helps...
