Hi,

I tried HIIT today (I have been doing 30 minutes moderate intensity cardio previously), and i did 25 s sprint/35 s jog for 5 minutes. After 2 or 3 minutes, my right hamstring started to hurt (not a "good" hurt). This has happened before when I sprinted. It hurts whenever i bend my knee alot and when I straighten it all the way. But, it only hurts for like one day. Then it goes away (from previous experience). I am 18, male, about 150 pounds, and in good shape. I played tennis in high school and still do once or twice a week. When I sprint on the tennis court, I don't get this problem (it's only for a couple seconds at a time). I'm getting my knee checked out this Friday, but I was jw if anyone has had this problem before or knows anything about it. FYI, I can jog 3 miles at a moderate intensity w/o this pain.
