of course it could, maybe not a specific "sound" but if your RC is strained or clavicle or AC joint may have some problems..

In my experience, I havent had many "sounds" come from the shoulder area lol
but more so physical discomfort

yea, mine crunchs when i do circles or lift it above my head, right arm more so then left. But when i took joint supp and fish oil for about 3 months it almost went away, but then i ran out so im back at crunching )=

Both shoulders with arthritis diagnosed. It only really bothers me if I do any pressing movements over my head. The constant cracking sounds was really wearing me down but now I'm learning to tune them out.

No, there is no pain, loss of strength or range of motion. Somewhere down the line I will have have to a debridement.

Both of my shoulders crunch. The right one here and there. My right shoulder has no pain, no loss of strength or loss of ROM. The left one is WAY worse though. Hell, it crunches when I walk. My left shoulder is the one in my sig.
