I have a slight tingling/burning pain in my upper delt. The weird thing is, it mainly hurts when I'm doing my handgrip exercises. Any ideas what it could be?

can you please provide more detail about your handgrip exercises?

Mainly using a 200 lb handgripper from Iron Company, but also when gripping anything tightly, such as the bar when doing bench, curls, etc. I can squeeze my fist tightly right now, and the pain will come, but subside as soon as I loosen my grip.

Like the above poster said, you aren't providing enough information. It is most likely causes by the pulling of your bicep tendon on the deltoid when you contract the muscles. It could be caused by a number of problems such as inflexability, muscle tension requiring massaging. Or the route of the problem could be caused by lack of support for the delt on the opposing side being the scapula muscle group and or rotator cuff.

stretch/massage your arms using wrist/forearm stretches, tricep stretches.
scap and rotator cuff exercises and reverse flies, face pulls
